I swear, Sandra, I was going to ask the very same first question! You beat me to it :)

My other questions (for now :P ) are:

1. What's on the original birth certificate and is it sealed?

2. Are the donors of the eggs/sperm "entitled" to privacy if they don't want their name known?

And to muddy the waters even more ...

Does paying 'donors' amount to buying babies?
Will children born from donated eggs consider themselves to have been rejected?
Should children related through an egg doner be considered siblings, and are they entitled to a relationship?
If a donor egg baby is relinquished for adoption, who would be the birth mother?
If donated eggs are fertilized with donated sperm are both donors parents? And, if so, what sorts of relationships should develop between all parties?

Rather makes simple adoption seem straightforward, doesn't it?
