This month has gone by so fast heck…even this year has flown by. Oh, what a year it has been for me. I was given this great opportunity to blog here as an adoptee and I have enjoyed my time. I have met some great people and learned so much from bloggers and readers. The time has come for me to begin another path in my adoption journey of life. This will be my last month sharing my experiences, thoughts, feelings and information as being an adoptee.

A lot of you have been supportive through some very different times in my life or when facing some unpleasant issues that I am so thankful for. Many of you have given me the chance to see things differently by helping me to learn more along the way. For this I am truly grateful.

I have discovered that there are some people that carry with them great pain, anger, in some cases maybe even hate because of their connection with adoption. Dealing with these feelings can bring deep sadness and darkness in your life which you can see by the pain some people are unable to work through. Sadly, some of these people seem to get upset when others talk about their positive adoption experience or the positives of adoption in general, leading to some people placing judgment on others, being rude, at times saying unkind things, and other cases being right down hurtful. I have had a number of bloggers deal with this from time to time on a regular basis.

I know without a shadow of a doubt, that adoption is not wrong, dark or any other negative thing that some people would love to convince others of. Yes, I understand that it is not a perfect situation and could use improvements and I have never claimed that it was perfect. I know this because I have lived with being adopted just as many others that I know without it being the source of our problems no matter what others says.
