I am considering adoption for this child, because I want to provide a life and family for this child that I cannot currently give to it. I would really like to pursue an open adoption, but I also want to know what Adoptee's have gone through and talk with some if possible. <br /> I will always have a desire to be this baby's mother and I feel blessed to already have a son, so I know all of the milestones I will miss out on. But I am not married and I don't believe marrying the father of this child is a good choice, nor do I think single parenting another child is a good choice. I think another family can offer this child what I cannot but this is still the most heart wrenching experience to even consider. I do not love my baby any less, and in fact I am only considering adoption becasue I want what is absolutely best for this child and I believe what is best is a loving and healthy home with a happily married couple. <br /> I would have liked to talk with Abby, who wrote these blogs, but I see she hasn't written in a year... maybe someone will reply.
